<p>Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Production Scheduler. This position will located at our Bethel, CT facility.</p> <p>The Production Scheduler represents the manufacturing facility within a Network and has the responsibility to facilitate seamless execution and adherence to planned production volumes and dates for the plant's performance across core business objectives such as inventory, cost and customer satisfaction. The Production Scheduler's focus lies on managing the short-term frozen horizon for the plant through collaboration with cross function teams including operations, quality and engineering.</p> <p>The expected annual salary range for this role is $68000 - $99000 a year.</p> <p>Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Adhere and align to the Master Production Schedule. </li><li>Re-sequence/re-route production orders when capacity constrained to minimize deviations from MPS. </li><li>Escalate execution issues to Network Schedulers when resolution time is not allowing adherence to MPS. </li><li>Manage shop floor scheduling; level load work orders based on cell capacity. </li><li>Manage work orders to ensure manufacturing has always has work and communicates with operations if otherwise. </li><li>Direct daily workflow (WIP - "work in process") through analysis of reports and input from cross-functional teams. </li><li>Align and set priorities for resources and shared resources across factory to maximize efficiency and material flow to ensure customer OTD. </li><li>Expedite orders for customers where possible; expedite shortages with buyers; communicate updates to customer service. </li><li>Ensure work orders for their areas of responsibility are current, not past due, not in pick status for long periods of time. </li><li>Support minimizing past due sales dollars, monitoring and resolving quality issues and drive customer on-time delivery. </li><li>Support High Performance Work Teams & flexible/capable of working in different environments. </li><li>Support plant continuous improvement. </li><li>Prepare reports and other correspondence for use by Eaton SCM professionals. </li><li>Communicate with cross-functional teams including: Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Purchasing. </li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and techniques which will improve the scheduling function. </li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable contract flow down (FAR, DFAR, ITAR, etc.). </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Required (Basic) Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution. </li><li>Minimum of one (1) year experience in supply chain or operations. </li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. </li><li>This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158. </li><li>No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
