As a Pricing & Estimating Representative, you will play a critical role in shaping profitable growth by developing accurate, competitive pricing and cost estimates from initial concept through production.</p> <p>In this role, you'll partner closely with design, production, and sales teams to translate technical requirements into clear, data-backed pricing strategies. These values are the cornerstone of Plastic Ingenuity.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Thoroughly understand the PI process from design concept to shipment. </li><li>Review part and tool information with Design and Production teams. </li><li>Lays out tools and accurately captures tool build costs. </li><li>Evaluate and apply the unique requirements for customers. </li><li>Understand and apply appropriate costs of various materials and production locations. </li><li>Monitor costs and update pricing as required. </li><li>Work with sales and the management team to implement strategic pricing initiatives. </li><li>Write accurate quotes that are consistent with the corporate aesthetic. </li><li>Complete quotes in a timely manner. </li><li>Provide data to sales to support the effects of price changes on the customer. </li><li>Other Duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Experience Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. </li><li>Experience in manufacturing environment is desired. </li><li>Extensive understanding or the willingness to learn the PI processes. </li><li>Willingness to grow and adapt. </li><li>Flexibility and an ongoing sense of urgency is a must. </li><li>Attention to detail is critical.
