From air combat training to state-of-the-art electronic warfare systems, our technology is deployed by virtually all U.S. military and government agencies around the world.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Daily activities focused on Environmental Protection and Employee Safety </li><li>Prepare Safety Data Sheet (SDS), master labels and other documentation as needed </li><li>Aid management with safety and regulatory audits </li><li>Coordinate the hazardous waste removal and handling procedures </li><li>Assist in the administration with customer inquiries on shipping, handling, and disposal of chemicals </li><li>Assist in generating literature for orders, SDS, etc. </li><li>Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization </li><li>Support implementation of an effective preventative maintenance program to ensure the stewardship of DRS assets </li><li>Respond to problems and issues in a tactful and expedient manner </li><li>Support facilities inspections and reporting requirements </li><li>Collect data and generates reports and metrics </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities Part II</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in EHS, science or related field preferred with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Experience with OSHA and annual compliance training strongly preferred </li><li>Strong communication, organization and negotiation skills are mandatory </li><li>Must have excellent PC-based computer skills </li></ul> <p>Taking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
