<p>30 hours per week, 12 months a year</p> <p>Essential Duties: Free & Reduced Applications: Collects and maintains Meal Benefit Applications; ensures they meet income guidelines and are signed off by both determining officials; prepares and distributes determination information to families within 10 days of receipt of applications. Prepares updated free & reduced student lists, monthly meal rosters, & student ID cards based on the information. Communicates information with parents and school personnel as needed. Enters all determination information into X2. Following Federal Guidelines completes the Verification Process of Meal Benefit Applications.</p> <p>Food & Supply Ordering/Inventory Initiates and submits purchase orders related to Food Service. Collects and organizes all invoices from schools to prepare the warrant. Assists kitchen managers in compiling orders for groceries and paper goods that are submitted to the Food Service Director. Assists with USDA commodity food ordering, receiving, and distribution to schools. Aid staff with facilitating the movement of inventory throughout all schools. Collaborate with kitchen managers to conduct a monthly inventory of food and non-food items. Updates inventory of all equipment to track all serial numbers and purchase information.</p> <p>Clerical Track all student meal counts and sales on appropriate forms. Prepares warrant for Food Director's approval prior to submitting. Verify all timesheets for the Director to approve. Monitor Sick call-ins and find substitutes for all positions. Tracks all sick call-ins and replacement labor. Maintains records, reports, and other materials essential to the program. Acts as custodian of documents and records maintains current year + 3 previous. Assists the Food Service Director in disseminating information between schools and staff. Collaborate between cafeteria managers and repair vendors to make service calls, and follow up to ensure that needed work has been completed.</p> <p>Kitchen Assist kitchen managers with training new staff. Work with kitchen staff to ensure they are up to date with all current cooking and nutrition trends for school nutrition. Assist as needed in kitchens when staff is out.</p>
