For detailed information regarding the 55-a Program, please visit the following link https://www1.nyc.gov/site/dcas/employment/55-a-program.page</p> <p>COMPENSATION</p> <p>Electrical Engineer 1: $90,551.00</p> <p>Electrical Engineer 2: $107,655.00</p> <p>Electrical Engineer 3: $120,427.00</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Responsible for coordinating the review of R211 design submittals for propulsion, brake, train control, and electrical coupler systems. Managing consultant technical review to ensure alignment with NYCT expectations. Facilitating and supporting design review meetings, locally and abroad at contractor facilities. Developing the R211 Monthly Progress Report to evaluate the status of the schedule and contract deliverables, including analyses of work performed, open design issues, and areas requiring extra focus. Mitigating design issues by working closely with product vendors to realize changes in design necessary to meet the needs of all project stakeholders, including operational, maintenance, and emergency response staff.</p> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p> <p>A valid New York State Professional Engineer's License and four years of full-time</p> <p>experience in electrical engineering.
