This position description does not represent in any way a contract of employment. </li></ul> <p>Principal Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the Physical Activities Center for regular operations, rentals and special events </li><li>Prepare for academic and non academic classes, rentals and special events by ensuring that all required materials and equipment are readily available, set up on time, and scheduled for return </li><li>Supervise, recruit, hire, train, assign, schedule and process time sheets for student employee </li><li>Act as a liaison for the department to full-time and adjunct instructors, clients and other departments on campus </li><li>Promotion of and provide information about the services provided in the PAC </li><li>Maintain, repair and prepare equipment </li><li>Sell open recreation memberships, operate membership system for Tartan Card, input and file all required information </li><li>Plan activities and events to provide engagement opportunities with students, faculty and staff of the college </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a bachelor's degree required </li><li>Minimum of 2 years' academic or work experience in recreation, sport management, or related field required </li><li>Previous supervisor experience required </li><li>Mechanical related experience in the maintenance and repair of the exercise equipment required </li><li>Excellent organizational skills required </li><li>Knowledge in the areas of recreation and physical education required </li><li>Knowledge of budget and accounting procedures along with accurate writing and computer skills required </li></ul> <p>Supplemental Questions</p> <p>Required fields are indicated with an asterisk (*).</p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Do you have a minimum of a bachelor's degree? </li></ul> </li><li> <p>Yes</p> </li><li> <p>No</p> </li><li> <ul> <li>Do you have a minimum of 2 years' academic or work experience in recreation, sport management, or related field? </li></ul> </li><li> <p>Yes</p> </li><li> <p>No</p> </li></ul> <p>Applicant Documents</p> <p>Required Documents</p> <ul> <li>Resume </li><li>Cover Letter </li></ul> <p>Optional Documents</p> <ul> <li>Other </li><li>General Transcript </li></ul>
