<p>Position Type: Full-time</p> <p>Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes with over 100 years of experience and approximately 30 billion envelopes manufactured annually. We are seeking experienced for 3rd shift Machine Packers in our Jersey City, NJ manufacturing plant.</p> <p>Machine Packer Pay/Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Pay starts at $16/hr + 3rd shift premium $1/hr </li><li>3rd shift 11pm -- 7am; Training is on 1st shift 7am -- 3pm </li><li>Schedule: Mon - Fri / Sat required during busy season/based on business needs. </li></ul> <p>Machine Packer Responsibilities & Daily Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Loads paper on to automatic hand-fed orweb envelope folding machines; pack finished product. </li><li>Inspects quality of envelopes, labels cartons, reports variances to key personnel. </li><li>Checks current production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements. </li><li>May be required to do rework on finished product; Cleans up work area during/end of shift. </li><li>Other duties as assigned/required. </li></ul> <p>Machine Packer Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-</p> <ul> <li>Ability to keep up with a high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift. </li><li>Mental alertness; Ability to step up/reach overhead/manually feed paper into machine. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 55 pounds; Manual dexterity required to grasp objects. </li><li>Exposure to arm/wrist fatigue; Exposure to noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.). </li><li>Must be able to work in hot or cold weather. </li></ul> <p>Cenveo is an EEO Employer</p>
