Behind the scenes, dedicated individuals focus on refining the experience for millions of customers across all of our brands and providing support to our field agents.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>As an Application Developer II on the Ticketing Admin team, you will support the Customer Experience Operations (CXO) organization in creating the architecture that allows us to serve our customers. You will build processes that ensure tickets submitted by customer service representatives on behalf of customers are provisioned, routed and managed effectively.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Application Management - Managing ticketing application(s) and internal domains, including proper resolution of tickets, provisioning of users, automations/rules for tickets, routing logic, interface enhancements, maintain deployment pipelines, and optimization of the existing tickets/processes </li><li>Data Management - Utilize various query languages to extract and populate data across relational and non-relational databases </li><li>End-User Experience - Assist in managing and developing the current case management system and finding innovative solutions to optimize the platform(s) and processes </li><li>Requirements Management - Gathering requirements from a large number of stakeholders. Responsible for documenting various ticketing flows and processes, database tables, and automation logic for the case management application </li></ul> <p>Skills, Experience and Requirements</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent application development experience </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Basic understanding of data and data analytics; database knowledge a plus (Microsoft SQL Server & AWS Athena) </li><li>Knowledge of coding principles required to support application development such as Python and JavaScript </li><li>Basic understanding of managing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), including design, development, deployment, and versioning </li><li>Knowledge of implementing, maintaining, and enhancing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines </li><li>Ability to design, write, and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reliability </li><li>Ability to comprehend application requirements for IT development </li><li>Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment </li><li>Ability to prioritize own work and work on projects independently and within a team </li><li>Ability to think creatively and apply logic when working through complex problems </li><li>Ability to maintain strong relationships with various departments in the business </li></ul> <p>Visa sponsorship not available for this role</p> <p>Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person on-site interview.</p> <p>Salary Ranges</p> <p>Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.</p> <p>The base pay range shown is a guideline.
