<p>Job Title: Hardware LogisticianJob Description</p> <p>The role of Hardware Logistician involves managing hardware inventory, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of components and assemblies. You will maintain accurate records of hardware configurations and ensure compliance with established configuration management processes. The position supports hardware lifecycle activities, such as procurement, shipping, and disposal. Collaboration with engineering and production teams is essential to ensure hardware availability aligns with project schedules. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain documentation such as bills of material (BOM), part lists, and configuration status reports, and assist in audits and inspections to verify hardware and documentation accuracy. Utilizing logistics and configuration management tools to track and report hardware status is a key part of this role.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage hardware inventory, including receipt, storage, and distribution of components and assemblies. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of hardware configurations and ensure compliance with established configuration management processes. </li><li>Support hardware lifecycle activities, including procurement, shipping, and disposal. </li><li>Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure hardware availability aligns with project schedules. </li><li>Prepare and maintain documentation such as bills of material (BOM), part lists, and configuration status reports. </li><li>Assist in audits and inspections to verify hardware and documentation accuracy. </li><li>Utilize logistics and configuration management tools to track and report hardware status. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years in hardware logistics or configuration management. </li><li>Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. </li><li>Familiarity with configuration management standards (e.g., MIL-STD-973 or similar). </li><li>Knowledge of defense or simulation hardware components. </li><li>Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with ERP systems and logistics databases. </li><li>Understanding of quality assurance processes related to hardware. </li><li>Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering Technology, or related field (Bachelor's preferred). </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Embrace a culture that is relaxed and welcoming, with a flexible dress code and scheduling.
