Buffett, acquired Precision Castparts Corp.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Inside Sales Representative Summary</p> <p>This is an Inside Sales Representative position focusing on selling our company products and servicing our customer base. This may include maintaining a customer contract, serving contractual customers, quoting and closing contract and transactional opportunities, prospecting for new opportunities and cold calling.</p> <p>Position requires a "hunter and service " mentality, solid negotiating skills, strong interpersonal skills, computer proficiency, attention to detail, strong math skills and desire to service our customer.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for meeting a budgeted-sales for identified accounts. </li><li>Ensures prompt processing of customer orders and requests for quotation in order to close business. </li><li>Expand existing & develop new relationships with customers. </li><li>Receives and analyzes incoming correspondence and gathers necessary data to formulate replies. </li><li>Provides customer feedback to sales rep., director and marketing </li><li>Maintains contact with plant personnel to ensure that customer Purchase Order requirements are met. </li><li>Supplies outside sales representatives with pertinent information concerning customer activity. </li><li>Acts as customer contact regarding pricing, order status, quality, scheduling & shipping. </li><li>Informs management of pricing levels, competition activities and market conditions. </li><li>Acts as liaison between customers and company. </li><li>Receives and analyzes incoming correspondence and gathers necessary data to formulate replies. </li><li>Maintains contact with plant personnel to ensure that customer requirements are met. </li><li>Supplies outside sales representatives with pertinent information concerning customer activity. </li><li>Acts as customer contact regarding pricing, order status, quality, scheduling & shipping. </li><li>Informs management of pricing levels, competition activities and market conditions. </li><li>Desires to develop into Technical outside rep in future </li><li>Must be willing to work overtime to ensure that projects are implemented on a timely basis. </li></ul> <p>Additional Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Travel as required </li><li>Prospecting, cold calling, canvassing/leveraging territory & network to gather leads </li><li>Identify leads through phone, email, online and in person </li><li>Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls </li><li>Make outbound follow up calls to existing clients via phone & email </li><li>Generating leads advancing sales process, obtaining new customers and assisting in hitting sales targets </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Prior experience within a manufacturing organization </li><li>Knowledge of the metals or aerospace industry is preferred </li><li>Self-Motivated with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm </li><li>Ability to work individually and part of a team </li></ul> <p>Additional Notes</p> <p>Proof of US citizenship, nationality, and/or permanent resident status in order to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations.</p> <p>TIMET is equal opportunity employer.
