This might be a fantastic position for you to advance your passion in the civil space!</p> <p>This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and highly collaborative team.</p> <p>CPH has an opening in our Orlando, Florida office location for the following position:</p> <ul> <li>Project Engineer (EIT/EI) - Civil/Facilities </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>-Primary Duties-- </li><li>Preparation of design plans, specifications, and reports for a variety of water/wastewater and stormwater projects which may include transmission, distribution, collection, treatment, storage, utility master planning, permitting and various engineering tasks. </li><li>Hydraulic modeling including stormwater pre/post and advanced treatment and storage design along with water and sewer pumping systems and hydraulic water distribution modeling. </li><li>Ability to successfully interact with various public and private clients and other jurisdictional agencies. </li><li>Performing assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities. </li><li>Review of design plans and comparison to accepted municipal standards and details. </li><li>Preparing engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids. </li><li>Working on a wide range of projects and tasks and assist with field research, data collection, data analysis, graphics, maps and data presentation, and report development. </li><li>Management of time and workload to stay on schedule and within budget. </li><li>Limited travel to assist with site investigations, construction observation and project transmittals. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>-Requirements-- </li><li>Bachelors or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related focus. </li><li>E.I Certificate preferred or eligible and scheduled for FE exam. </li><li>Detail-oriented individual with strong technical and organizational skills </li><li>Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing and standard office software. </li><li>Works well in multidisciplinary team environments and ability to meet deadlines. </li><li>Strong oral presentation and written communication skills. </li><li>Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, WaterCAD, ICPR and other modeling software is preferred. </li><li>Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>-Compensation & Benefits-- </li><li>Dependent upon experience. </li><li>CPH offers Medical, Dental and Vision and Long-Term Disability with a quality insurance company. </li><li>Company Paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability. </li><li>401K, Paid Personal Time Off, Paid Holidays, and Paid Parental Leave. </li></ul> <p>CPH is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Drug Free Work Environment Employer.</p>
