This entails compiling availability and coordinating with operations to stack the schedule, communicate the "how" and the "why". Assisting with our satellite and Denver location to assist in Special Event deliveries.</p> <p>Key Roles and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Utilize TCR scheduling software to plan, track, and adjust daily schedules efficiently. </li><li>Navigate email and Excel fluently for reviewing job requests, confirming details, and executing scheduling changes. </li><li>Manage high-volume communications and scheduling in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Collaborate with different departments to ensure efficient workflow and field support. </li><li>Provide leadership support for satellite and special event scheduling efforts. </li><li>Meet and/or exceed customer needs by making additions, cancellations, and changes to customer orders. </li><li>Schedule drivers daily with the intention of maximizing service and minimizing costs; manage drivers and monitor efficiencies throughout the day. </li><li>Continually monitor fleet location via company GPS and ensure drivers are progressing efficiently to their assigned projects. </li><li>Monitor driver's weekly hours of service and ensure the drivers are getting adequate rest. </li><li>Ensure that delivery, set-up, takedown, and pick-up of equipment happens on time, every time. </li><li>Ability to resolve customer issues and meet customer needs. </li><li>Ensure that all field paperwork/reporting is completed accurately by the Drivers and turned in daily. </li><li>Review driver field reporting for accuracy and communicate with Drivers immediately to resolve questions. </li><li>Create, and communicate the next day's schedule to field employees and the traffic control department. </li><li>Schedule and track flagging start and end times, confirm flagging hours with the Contractor and internal Customer Service staff, when required. </li><li>As needed, provide customers with technical information regarding work zone safety specifications. </li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas. </li><li>All other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to learn quickly, problem-solve, and remain composed to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a high pace environment. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to build and maintain supportive relationships with team members inside and outside of the organization </li><li>Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. </li><li>Self-motivated; capable of taking initiative, successfully handling, and prioritizing multiple competing assignments, and hitting deadlines. </li><li>Ability to think critically and look for alternative solutions to problems. </li><li>A passion for success, a positive and friendly attitude, and a strong work ethic. </li><li>A strong knowledge of the traffic control/construction industry is a major plus. </li><li>Working knowledge of TCR software preferred. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and email platforms for job scheduling and communication. </li><li>Previous dispatching or scheduling experience in a high-paced environment is highly preferred. </li><li>Experience in Traffic Control or the construction field is strongly preferred. </li></ul> <p>Working Environment / Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Office Environment/Outside Environment </li><li>Position involves sitting for extended periods of time while working at a computer terminal. </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit and use their hands. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. </li><li>Minimum lifting requirement is 35lbs. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Valid Driver's License and clean MVR Must maintain a valid driver's license during entire employment </li><li>Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens </li><li>Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check. </li><li>Flagger certification may be required. </li></ul>
