<p>Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Lead mechanical engineering efforts for new product introductions (NPI) and sustaining products. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, process, test, and reliability engineering. </li><li>Ensure mechanical design meets performance, cost, and quality targets. </li><li>Drive design improvements for manufacturability, yield, and cost reduction. </li><li>Manage mechanical content for product builds and validation. </li><li>Support failure analysis and root cause investigations. </li><li>Interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners to resolve issues and optimize production. </li><li>Experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably in networking or electronics hardware. </li><li>Knowledge of materials, thermal management, and structural analysis. </li><li>Experience with DFM, DFA, and reliability testing. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills. </li><li>Collaborate with contract manufacturers (CMs) and suppliers to resolve mechanical issues during production. </li><li>Review and approve mechanical tooling, fixtures, and process changes. </li></ul> <p>Roles & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>CAD software: Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD </li><li>PLM systems: Agile, Windchill </li><li>Materials knowledge: Plastics, metals, composites </li><li>Manufacturing processes: Injection molding, die casting, sheet metal, CNC machining </li><li>Standards: IPC, ISO, UL, CE, RoHS </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $63,400-$100,000 a year</p> <p>#LI-CM2</p>
