This role will apply advanced materials management concepts to ensure continual flow of material to meet changing customer demands. Further, this person will support the manufacturing business through supply chain activities and established/new processes.</p> <p>At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Creation of daily and weekly production schedule accounting for asset capacity, resource assignments, inventory availability, and demand priority.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate and monitor production planning and scheduling including tracking and expediting work in process for downstream manufacturing and shipping operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a lead point of contact for line balancing and material flow improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Align supply chain, sourcing, and packaging activities with new product build and release schedules.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in process alignment activities (HPPD, Project Timelines, Team Center, New Parts Database, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze inventory levels and modify planning as required to insure service and production schedules within established inventory policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage Bill of Material (BOM) transitions, supersession maintenance.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate and maintain continual feedback to internal and external customers and supply base, status of delivery data, supplier performance, part deployment, and inventory policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Support inter-plant shipping process, allocation to distribution centers, and further process parts.</p> </li><li> <p>Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities</p> </li><li> <p>Key performance indicators (KPI) including:</p> </li><li> <p>Plant Past Due Metrics</p> </li><li> <p>Inventory Levels & Turns</p> </li><li> <p>Inventory Adjustments</p> </li><li> <p>Defined Internal Operational Metrics (e.g. Backorders, Schedule Attainment, Jobs Past Due)</p> </li></ul> <p>Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS in Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent years of experience. </li><li>3-5 years materials management and/or supply chain experience </li><li>Strong Cross Functional/Team Leadership and Communication Skills. </li><li>Good Organization skills with strong attention to detail </li><li>Technical and logical capability to solve problems </li><li>Must be able to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously. </li><li>Strong leadership & project management skill. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills </li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal oversight required </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>CPIM/CPM Certification </li><li>Experience in service parts or manufacturing job shop environment </li><li>Knowledge in Lean Six Sigma methodology, Green Belt certification </li><li>Advance PC skills in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI and Visio </li></ul> <p>The hiring range for this position is 62,800 - $90,500 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.</p> <p>In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
