<p>11141 Ultrasound Tech STRHS-Lawrenceburg Job Description</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Under the general guidance of the physicians/providers performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasonographic procedures.</p> <p>Reports to: Director of Imaging Services</p> <p>FLSA: Non-exempt</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.</p> <p>Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.</p> <p>Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.</p> <p>Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.</p> <p>Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.</p> <p>Nonessential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.• Attends and participates in staff meetings, in-service, projects and committees as assigned.• Adheres to and supports policies and procedures of the STRHS.• Works scheduled shifts including overtime, when necessary.• Accepts all call schedule as directed.• Maintains a neat and professional appearance in compliance to the existing dress code. </li></ul> <p>Organizational Expectations</p> <ul> <li>Compliance to the STRH - Lawrenceburg Standards of Performance is required.• Compliance to Dress Code Standards• Should this job description be filled by a PRN employee, they will be subject to the requirements of that position. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Minimum EducationX Associate's degree Preferred</p> <p>X Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required</p> <p>Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
