Our Summer Camp Staff will be responsible for implementing the summer camp program by actively engaging with youth participants and staff daily. Apply today for a summer full of adventure at Chesterfield County!</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Works closely with the Camp Supervisor in implementing scheduled activities. </li><li>Assist with the daily participant check-in process. </li><li>Responsible for safety and supervision of participants. </li><li>Organize all equipment and supplies needed for activities ahead of the scheduled activity time. </li><li>Communicate clearly to individuals and groups to explain activity steps, rules, and safety instructions to maintain an orderly activity and a safe environment. </li><li>Lead children of all ages, acting as a role model at all times. </li><li>Modify instructions and scope of activity to accommodate various age and skill levels so a safe and satisfying experiences had by all participants. </li><li>Enforce camp rules at all times, including safety measures unique to each different activity. </li><li>Perform other work as required. </li></ul> <p>Shift</p> <p>Shift varies; Monday - Friday: flexible hours between 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; includes some evenings, weekends, and holidays</p> <p>Work Location</p> <p>Parks and Recreation</p>
