<p>Boston University Questrom School of Business is seeking motivated and driven candidates for the Events Specialist role. Candidates will be well versed in the events industry and eager to build a career in the field of event planning. Questrom's Events and Conferences unit produces a variety of events including conferences, networking events, social events, graduation ceremonies, and more. This is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Questrom Events and Conferences is committed to exceptional event delivery and bringing our clients events to life.</p> <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a related field. </li><li>2-3 years of experience in the events industry. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in higher education. </li><li>Knowledge of event platforms including Social Tables and CVENT. </li><li>Knowledge of the events industry including trends, design, and safety. </li><li>Optional portfolio of past event work </li></ul> <p>Scheduling:</p> <ul> <li>The business hours for Questrom Events and Conferences are Monday through Friday from 9:00am-5:30pm.
