<p>HVAC TECHNICIAN</p> <p>Public Buildings Building Maintenance Division</p> <p>Salary Range: $36.31 - $40.08/hourly + generous benefits</p> <p>The Town of Brookline is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across Town facilities. This hands-on position ensures that our buildings remain comfortable, energy-efficient, and well maintained for employees and the public.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Servicing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems and automatic temperature controls </li><li>Testing and troubleshooting equipment such as chillers, air handling units, ductless and split systems, package AC units, boilers, and ventilation systems </li><li>Using laptop-based diagnostic tools and software to monitor and adjust system performance </li><li>Performing preventative maintenance, keeping accurate records of repairs, and managing parts replacements </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma plus additional training and experience maintaining large HVAC systems and equipment such as air handling units, rooftop units, exhaust fans, split systems, and classroom unit ventilators; must have strong troubleshooting and system analysis skills. </li><li>Massachusetts Journeyman Refrigeration/HVAC License </li><li>Valid MA Drivers License </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us:</p> <p>Work independently and as part of a professional facilities team that takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and comfortable public buildings.
