Bring a solution design through the development phase into a mature product ready for commercial deployment. Gathering functional requirements, evaluating deployment scenarios (capacity, supportability, reliability, functionality, cost benefit), defining/documenting solutions, executing proof-of-concepts (as applicable), and guiding customer/partner organizations through connectivity processes for the company network. Responsible for planning, designing, integrating and driving large-scale routing, switching, and firewall. Creation of High Level Documentation and draft of Low Level Documentation (for Engineering/Implementation to finalize during implementation. Act as a final contact for any technical issues during integration related to network issues.</p> <p>Skills, Experience and Requirements</p> <p>Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field plus 10 years of experience in job offered or similar roles in large enterprise or carrier environments. Requires CCIE or CCNP Certification or equivalent. Also requires 10 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):</p> <ul> <li>Deploy, Support, Design, Planning, Consulting, System Integration, and Network Operations. </li><li>Cisco routers and switches (Cisco IOS) and Firewalls. </li><li>Networking technologies: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, HSRP, VLAN, TCP/IP, MPLS, and STP. </li><li>Implementation, Decommission, Upgrades, Updates of switch/router and firewalls. </li><li>Manage hardware IOS, coordinating with vendors/partners for support. </li><li>Gather requirements, create specifications, and design solution for network projects </li><li>IP Addressing (CIDR/IPv4/IPv6). </li></ul> <p>Salary Ranges</p> <p>Compensation: $166,000.00/Year</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, which may include a drug test.</p> <p>Rate of Pay: $166,000.00/Year</p> <p>Benefits information available at careers.dish.com.</p> <p>Apply at careers.dish.com.
