Complies with the Head Start Performance Standards, the Head Start Act and other applicable regulations. Builds partnerships with families to assist them in identifying their own goals, strengths, needed services and support systems and in developing strategies and timetables for achieving their own goals.</p> <p>Work is performed under the supervision of an assigned Sr. Program Manager and is reviewed through observations, conferences, reports and results achieved.</p> <p>Representative Duties/Assignments</p> <ul> <li>Provides information and referral services for general assistance, counseling, medical assistance, and/or mental health services to Head Start children and families, according to Head Start guidelines. </li><li>Implements and adheres to eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance (ERSEA) standard operating procedures and Orange County's policies and procedures. </li><li>Conducts recruitment activities for program participants to include door to door recruitment, agency and community outreach, and distribution of materials as assigned. </li><li>Completes eligibility and enrollment application to maintain a 100% full enrollment. </li><li>Completes family needs assessment and develops a parent, family and community engagement Partnership Agreements with each Head Start family to accomplish identified goals. Monitors progress toward goals and recommends continuation or termination of services. </li><li>Maintains regular contact with families by, making home visits, phone calls, center contacts and other investigations to ascertain the exact nature of home environment and/or progress in meeting goals and to supplement information gained by the personal interview. </li><li>Provides information to parents for dental and physical screenings and follow-up appointments as indicated for Head Start children. Ensures required follow-up is completed in consultation with the Childhood Health and Development Services. </li><li>Develops and coordinates prevention and community outreach services. Reviews and analyzes data regarding families on caseload to include Program Information Report, average daily attendance, goal achievement, and immunizations, medical and dental examinations. </li><li>Develops and coordinates prevention and community outreach services.
