<p>Meta is looking for a Network Engineer, Deployment & Support on the global edge and backbone network deployment team. This team is responsible for planning and executing network migrations for one of the world's largest backbone and edge networks. As a member of this team, you will have a unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of networking at Meta.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of IP networking experience with deploying, migrating and supporting service provider, data center, and/or enterprise network infrastructure. Experience configuring and troubleshooting IP routing/switching technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, RSVP and SDN. Experience coordinating and executing hardware installation and configuration. Hands-on experience with enterprise and carrier class routing, switching, and optical transport platforms. Knowledge of data center design and operational best practices. Experience with Linux OS/networking. Experience analyzing situations and utilizing problem solving experiences under pressure. Proven experience leading and executing network deployment and migration projects. Experience working with limited supervision. Experience interacting with vendors and external parties to drive projects to completion. Time and project management experience. Knowledge of various scripting languages. Experience with process improvement and systems development, leveraging automation to streamline repetitive workflows. Experience working in a multi-vendor network environment. Network certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, JNCIP.</p>
