<p>3rd shift Monday- Friday, 7:00 PM - 6:30 AM</p> <p>Scot Forge, 100% employee-owned company that manufactures custom open die and rolled ring forgings. From the wheels of NASA's Curiosity Mars Rover to mission critical components for nuclear submarines, to large hydraulic cylinders for the largest mining trucks on the planet, Scot Forge creates precision forged metal parts used in demanding applications all over the world.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Perform duties to assist in the building, rebuilding and repairing of production machine tools.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work from maintenance manuals, prints, work orders and instructions from Leadership. </li><li>Repair a variety of equipment involving mechanical, hydraulic and electrical functions. </li><li>Test and tear down equipment and replace defective parts and component units as directed. </li><li>Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities, check equipment function and operation as needed. </li><li>Assist in the installation or relocation of equipment. </li><li>Document blueprint changes. </li><li>Perform repair and fabrication welding and torch operations as required. </li><li>Perform all duties in accordance with appropriate guidelines for hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma / GED or equivalent </li><li>Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, and mechanical blueprints </li><li>Experience with basic hand tools, micrometers, calipers and other precision measuring equipment. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to tolerate a wide variety of temperature ranges from hot to cold. </li><li>Work in awkward positions, bending, kneeling and crouching down. </li><li>Repetitive lifting from ground level to overhead. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>We have grown to become a leader in the open-die forging industry by rewarding our most valuable resource... the employee-owners. We ultimately may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
