And our success allows Maharam to support causes that align with our values, so we can build a more sustainable, equitable, and beautiful future for everyone.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Supporting the warehouse management team, drives assignments and priorities to the warehouse team, via "Dashboard" management, and acts as liaison to inside customers via incoming/outgoing phone calls, emails, and/or Jira requests regarding customer orders, shipment information, etc.</p> <p>Monitor and expedite shipments to meet Maharam's on time performance to our customers.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in monitoring inbound email correspondence to the warehouse office</p> </li><li> <p>Handle Jira tickets related to shipping issues, receiving discrepancies, order corrections, and system-related problems</p> </li><li> <p>Create, update, track, and follow up on Jira requests</p> </li><li> <p>Manage and resolve all Past SLA Jira tickets, including research, updates, and coordination with internal teams</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate resolutions, next steps, and status updates through Jira</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor orders that are about to fall out of our on time performance commitments; does what's necessary to expedite such orders within the warehouse/fulfillment center, to the point of order fulfillment and customer delivery</p> </li><li> <p>Works with the receiving team, as required, to ensure the effiecient receipt of materials, and prompt storage to the warehouse and inventory management system.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordination with outside 3PL WH</p> </li><li> <p>Perform miscellaneous duties as required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Magnitude and Relationship Reporting</p> <p>This position reports to the Senior Director</p> <p>Contacts Inside and Outside the Organization</p> <p>This position will routinely have contact with Sales Reps and Coordinators, Yaphank departments including: Sales Reps and Coordinators, Resource Management, QA, Credit, and Client Services, with potential client contact.</p> <p>Knowledge and Skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Superior telephone/e-mail skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to confidently handle problem resolution, and setting production/warehouse priorities.</p> </li><li> <p>Organized and able to multi task</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication skills both written and verbal</p> </li><li> <p>Computer savvy with working knowledge of MS Office including outlook, and Word; and ability to learn DON and various Maharam specific computer functions</p> </li><li> <p>A Must complete today attitude</p> </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <p>Minimum 2 years experience preferred in a warehouse or production environment.</p> <p>Who We Hire?</p> <p>Simply put, we hire qualified applicants representing a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors .
