Come see for yourself!</p> <p>As the MRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be expected to support all imaging centers staffed by our organization. You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You will be expected to support all imaging centers staffed by our organization. You will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. You will:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders </li><li>Maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed </li><li>Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations </li><li>Perform accurate image archival </li><li>Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media </li><li>Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patient </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $49.73 - $65.56 Hourly</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <p>Please ensure your resume and application includes all relevant certifications and licenses.</p> <ul> <li>Licenses </li><li>A combination of the ARRT and CRT - required. MR certificate required </li></ul> <p>OR you need</p> <ul> <li>A combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) - required </li><li>BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required </li><li>Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required </li><li>Venipuncture certificate - preferred </li><li>AA or BS - preferred </li><li>At least 1 year of MRI experience - preferred </li><li>Siemens experience - preferred </li><li>Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies </li><li>Ability to identify contraindications for exams </li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skills </li><li>Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes) </li><li>Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology </li><li>Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities </li><li>You will be required to rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health </li></ul> <p>As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts a conditional offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; received notice of any allegations or are currently the subject of any administrative or disciplinary proceedings involving misconduct; have left a position after receiving notice of allegations or while under investigation in an administrative or disciplinary proceeding involving misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of misconduct with a previous employer.</p>
