<p>2026 VISTA UT Community Outreach Ambassador</p> <p>The VISTA member will build capacity for workforce pathways by working alongside the Workforce Program Manager (WPM) to coordinate multiple projects that support workforce development, recruitment, and retention. These efforts will facilitate partnerships that capitalize on clinical rotations, residencies, and pathway opportunities with health centers to address workforce shortages in rural and urban underserved communities, resulting in greater access to quality primary and preventative care services. These efforts reduce poverty by mitigating the "health-poverty trap," where illness causes financial catastrophe.
