<p>Electrical Installation Journeyman</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>An Electrical Installation Journeyman for Bastian Solutions is a hands-on position focusing on the</p> <p>installations of large- and small-scale conveyor, robotic, automation and commercial electrical</p> <p>systems. In this position you would be expected to understand industry practices, possess proven</p> <p>electrical skill competencies, and accomplish tasks assigned to you by the Electrical Installation</p> <p>Lead/Supervisor. Tasks may include mentoring and leading Electrical Installation Technicians to</p> <p>complete small projects assigned to you with close supervision. This position requires continuous</p> <p>travel to client sites for the installation of material handling systems.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Knowledgeable in National Electric Code (NEC). </li><li>Proficient in installation methods (terminology, conduit bending, wire pulling, terminating, and </li></ul> <p>troubleshooting).</p> <ul> <li>Perform or assist in electrical installation work with little supervision. </li><li>Able to lead a small crew, project, or task. </li><li>Safely complete the tasks assigned to you by the Electrical Lead or Supervisor in a timely manner and </li></ul> <p>up to quality standards.</p> <ul> <li>Escalate higher-level electrical concerns to a supervisor. </li><li>Up to 95% travel. Minimum 2 weeks at a time. </li><li>Proficient in handling basic issues and troubleshoot a system. </li><li>Working knowledge of proper hardware usage. </li><li>Strong understanding of troubleshooting methods and techniques and assists more junior </li></ul> <p>technicians with issues.</p> <ul> <li>Assist more senior personnel in electrical installations, connections, and terminations under little </li></ul> <p>supervision.</p> <ul> <li>Perform other project related duties and assignments as instructed by a supervisor or more senior </li></ul> <p>electrician.</p> <ul> <li>Escalate higher-level electrical concerns to a supervisor. </li><li>Up to 95% travel.
