<p>Maintenance Summer Intern</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide semi-skilled labor in the performance of preventative maintenance, maintenance, repair, reconfiguration, construction, and/or restoration activities related to plumbing: Including but not limited to equipment, water and sewage lines, sinks, faucets, toilets, pipes and drains. </li><li>Provide semi-skilled labor in the performance of preventative maintenance, maintenance, repair, reconfiguration, construction, and/or restoration related to carpentry: Including but not limited to doors, windows, walls, floors, roofs, and steps, floors, cabinets, chairs, desks, walls, furniture, door closers, handles and locks. </li><li>Provide semi-skilled labor in the performance of preventative maintenance, maintenance, repair, reconfiguration, construction, and/or restoration related but not limited to safe operation of hand tools, power tools, equipment, machinery and attachments. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be a current actively enrolled student at Hocking College </li><li>Ability to follow verbal and written directives </li><li>Good academic standing with a minimum 2.0 GPA </li><li>Show professionalism, appropriate work ethic, and timeliness </li><li>Effective completion of duties assigned </li><li>Follow all Hocking College policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be requested and reviewed according to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).</p>
