<p>Job Requirements</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Medicare Telesales Consultant delivers top-tier sales, service and enrollment consultation to</p> <p>Medicare Advantage prospects for Health First Health Plans (HFHP) throughout the region. The</p> <p>Medicare Telesales Consultant integrates individual and team contributions to drive critical growth</p> <p>metrics in meeting department and organizational goals for Health First Health Plans.</p> <p>PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITES</p> <ol> <li> <p>Engages with Medicare Advantage prospects to provide needs-based sales consultation in a telesales environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Fields in-bound sales opportunities are routed from various lead sources and markets while maintaining quality and performance metrics.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive outbound call campaigns as determined by Medicare Sales leadership to support on-boarding, member satisfaction and other campaigns.</p> </li><li> <p>Foster strong and sustainable telephonic relationships with existing and prospective members while meeting or exceeding sales goals and communicates a seamless understanding of the Health First value proposition and suite of HFHP products offered to Medicare Advantage prospects in each region.</p> </li><li> <p>Report and document sales and retention activity as required by Medicare Sales leadership in CRM or related systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Navigate existing and prospective members to appropriate internal and partner resources in securing sales opportunities and handling service inquiries.</p> </li><li> <p>Understand the competitive landscape in Medicare Advantage in each market and be able to effectively handle competitive objections.</p> </li><li> <p>Works collaboratively in a team environment and across departments to support overall HFHP growth initiatives and manages and updates Sales' collaterals as necessary with marketing and compliance teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Represent HFHP in accordance with all CMS, regulatory and department guidelines based upon a thorough and on-going understanding of Medicare regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide meaningful feedback from member engagements and competitive interactions in an effort to continually improve sales and service models within the department.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts member retention campaigns as required to meet department goals assigned by leadership.</p> </li></ol> <p>Work Experience</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Work Experience: One (1) year of health insurance experience in a managed care organization. </li><li>Licensure: </li></ul> <p>o Health Insurance licensure in the State of Florida within 90 days of start date and maintained.</p> <p>o Driver's licensure and clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) prior to start date and maintained.</p> <ul> <li>Certification: (AHIP) within 90 days of start date and maintained. </li><li>Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: </li></ul> <p>o Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.</p> <p>o Clear communication and critical thinking skills able to represent HFHP in telephonic sales engagements.</p> <p>o Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision in meeting or exceeding sales goals within a fast-paced work environment.</p> <p>o Ability to navigate basic telephony systems in working within a call center environment.</p> <p>PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Education: Associate's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, or relevant field. </li><li>Work Experience: </li></ul> <p>o Two (2) years' experience in health insurance with a managed care organization.</p> <p>o Previous experience selling and delivering Medicare Advantage products in the State of Florida markets.</p> <ul> <li>Certification: Bilingual certification through Health First approved language certification vendor. </li><li>Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: </li></ul> <p>o Documented ability to exceed sales goals in health insurance sales.</p> <p>o Expertise in the Central Florida Medicare Advantage market and competitive landscape.</p> <p>o High-level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.</p> <p>o Excellent communication and critical thinking skills able to represent HFHP in telephonic sales engagements.</p> <p>o Experience in navigating telephony systems in working within a call center environment.</p> <p>o Bilingual in English and Spanish with ability to pass CMS language certification.</p> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, and stooping. </li><li>Long periods of computer time or at workstation. </li><li>Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance. </li><li>May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise. </li><li>Communicating with others to exchange information. </li><li>Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks. </li><li>Workspace may vary from open to confined. </li><li>May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter;
