<p>Location: UC Health- West Chester Physicians South</p> <p>Department: Outpatient Therapy</p> <p>Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week</p> <p>Shift: First</p> <p>Physical Therapist (PT), First Shift, Physical Therapy Department</p> <p>UC Health is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) for the Outpatient Therapy department for the first shift at UC Health- West Chester Physicians South.</p> <p>The major focus will be on evaluating, planning, and implement Physical Therapy treatment programs for referred patients in order to restore function, prevent disability, reduce pain, and return to his/her maximum function. Follow hospital department approved policies related to documentation, attendance, education, etc. Show respect and courtesy to all staff, patients, and visitors.</p> <ul> <li>Communicates effectively across age groups and cultural backgrounds, involving families in treatment planning and responding appropriately to behavioral health concerns and signs of abuse or neglect. </li><li>Selects appropriate tools, completes individualized evaluations, and develops measurable, goal-oriented care plans aligned with patient needs and diagnoses. </li><li>Administers treatments and operates equipment safely, reassesses progress regularly, and educates patients and caregivers on therapy goals, home exercises, and proper techniques. </li><li>Completes timely and accurate documentation and billing, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Participates in performance improvement initiatives, mentors students and staff, attends departmental meetings, and contributes to a positive and productive work environment. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum Required: </li><li>Degree in Physical Therapy from approved APTA School. </li><li>License to practice Physical Therapy or licensure eligible in the applicable state. </li><li>Preferred 3 years of experience </li></ul> <p>Join our team to BE UC Health.
