<p>Under the direction of the Executive Director of Marketing and Foundation, designs and produces high-quality promotional materials for the college. This position plays a key role in increasing awareness of the College's offerings through creating marking materials that promote the College's programs and initiatives.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Work with instructors, deans, staff and administrators to design promotional materials including flyers, brochures, booklets, postcards, mailers, invitations, digital/social media assets, etc. </li><li>Prepare files for both print and digital applications </li><li>Film and/or photograph campus events and stage photography to be used in publications </li><li>Follow ADA standards to create accessible PDF documents and flyers. </li><li>Participates in relevant professional development opportunities. </li><li>Serves on institutional committees as appointed. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned to support the College's mission. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge of</p> <ul> <li>Principles and practices of a Windows and/or Mac operating system </li><li>Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat. Premier Pro and After Effects are a plus </li><li>Microsoft Office including Word and PowerPoint </li><li>Design principles and best practices with color, layout, and typography </li></ul> <p>Ability to</p> <ul> <li>Communicate effectively verbally and in writing </li><li>Maintain effective working relationships with other people </li><li>Organize and prioritize workflow and multiple deadlines </li><li>Create new documents as well as adapt existing files </li><li>Operate a DSLR camera and related equipment </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>At least one year complete of an associate degree in graphic design or related field </li></ul> <p>Unofficial transcripts must be included with your online application before submission or sent directly to Human Resources immediately after applying.
