<p>Job#: 3013762</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Warehouse Associate</p> <p>Interested candidates should send an updated resume to [email protected]</p> <p>Pay Rate: $17/hour</p> <p>Duration of Project: Start ASAP - 3 months with potential to extend</p> <p>Location/Address: Hanover Park, IL</p> <p>Schedule/Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM CST</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Verify contents of shipment compared to shipping documents while noting any discrepancies or damage. </li><li>Operate computer terminal to enter receipts and printer to print labels. </li><li>Pick outbound orders using RF scanners, verifying quantity and correct product. </li><li>Select the right size of boxes and pack the product, send boxes onto the conveyor line to be quality checked in the upper mezzanine. </li><li>Operate computer terminal to enter handling units and verify orders with the correct count and product, and print shipping labels. </li><li>Accurately label the boxes and send to the conveyor line for metering. </li><li>Accurately mark the correct number on product and label products. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety standards in the work area. </li></ul> <p>What you'll need to succeed:</p> <ul> <li>High School Education or equivalent with at least 6 months of warehouse experience. </li><li>Knowledge of shipping, warehouse, and safety procedures and some computer experience. </li><li>Ability to multitask and strong organization and time management skills. </li><li>Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints in a timely manner. </li><li>Capability to use RF technology. </li><li>Possession of a valid forklift certification would be a plus. </li><li>Knowledge of a WMS system, SAP preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of FedEx, UPS, and DHL Power Stations. </li><li>Ability to type 25-40 wpm. </li></ul> <p>EEO Employer</p> <p>Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
