Upperline Health is based out of Nashville, TN and has operations in 130+ clinic locations across Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee.</p> <p>We put patients at the center of value-based care.</p> <p>About the Compounding Pharmacy Technician Position</p> <p>Upperline Health's Ascend Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Compounding Pharmacy Technician to work in our non-sterile compounding lab. As part of a fast-growing company, this is an exciting opportunity to expand your pharmacy skills or gain hands-on experience with compounding medications.</p> <p>We are a closed-door pharmacy with a Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8am-3pm schedule.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare compounds in accordance with USP standards, including chapter 795 </li><li>Sort, stock, and manage inventory </li><li>Comply with rules, regulations, and procedures to help maintain a clean and safe pharmacy </li><li>Assist the pharmacist with pharmacy needs and be willing to perform customer service duties such as contacting patients, following up on orders and shipping medications if needed </li><li>Consistently provide exceptional customer service to all patients with an empathetic, compassionate, and professional demeanor with each interaction </li><li>Values self as a team player who is dedicated, hard-working, reliable, and punctual </li><li>Exhibit self-motivation and possess a high degree of organizational skills to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly </li><li>Ability to become quickly proficient with the software systems used in our pharmacy </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Pharmacy Technician License in Tennessee; Certified Pharmacy Technician highly preferred </li><li>Previous pharmacy technician experience </li><li>Compounding experience is strongly preferred </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) </li><li>Exhibits exceptional attention to detail and values high degree of accuracy </li><li>Tenacious problem solver, with demonstrated capacity to embrace complex problems and arrive at effective solutions in a timely manner </li><li>Enjoys working in a team-based environment with active collaboration </li><li>Must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, crouch, and carry up to 40 pounds over short distances </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Comprehensive benefit options include medical, dental and vision, 401K (matching), PTO and parental leave.</p> <p>Compensation</p> <p>Compensation is commensurate to compensation for similar positions in the region based on prior training and experience.</p> <p>Job Type: Full time</p>
