<p>Strategic Communications Lead</p> <p>The Opportunity:</p> <p>Key to an organization's growth is strong stakeholder communication that represents and supports its mission, values, and objectives. As a communications professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization's reputation. We're looking for an experienced communications specialist like you who is ready to share your knowledge and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you'll use your consulting skills and experience to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports the Department of Defense.</p> <p>As a Strategic Communications Lead on our team, you'll develop creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to facilitate acceptance of changes to existing or implementation of new policies, processes, and initiatives.</p> <p>As the organizational advisor of all aspects of verbal and written communications, you'll oversee and author briefs, talking points, newsletters, website content, articles, email messages, and social media content. Your creative thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound with tools like the Microsoft Office suite.</p> <p>Work with us as we design, develop, and produce communication solutions to change and implement defense initiatives for the better.</p> <p>Join us. The world can't wait.</p> <p>You Have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience providing strategic communications support to senior leaders</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in public affairs functions supporting media relations, including queries and interviews, press releases, articles and publications, congressional queries and engagements, event preparation and participation, social media, and public websites</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prepare communication material, including talking points, speeches, remarks, and presentations</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of military protocol regulations, policies, and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to obtain a Secret clearance</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree</p> </li></ul> <p>Nice If You Have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience as a public affairs officer within the DoD</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently without direct supervision</p> </li><li> <p>Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Secret clearance</p> </li><li> <p>Protocol Officer Certification</p> </li></ul> <p>Clearance:</p> <p>Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.</p> <p>Compensation</p> <p>At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
