If you want to use your skills to build a healthier, more resilient community, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Charleston Dorchester Mental Health Center, Tri County Stabilization Center 3685 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405.</p> <p>Under limited supervision the Counselor will provide support, clinical treatment, education, consultative and preventive mental health services to patients at Tri-County Crisis Stabilization Unit to enhance recovery.</p> <p>Responsibilities for the Counselor:</p> <ul> <li>Provide quality person-centered care as demonstrated by the use of evidenced-based clinical interventions. </li><li>Provide all forms of direct clinical services, including PRS group, and PRS individual as credentialed by the Center and measured by a productivity expectation. </li><li>Collect, organize and record data and information for medical records in accordance with QI guidelines that is reflective of quality patient care. </li><li>Demonstrate recognition of importance of collaboration, customer services, and teamwork with the Center, TCSC, and the community. </li><li>Attend all trainings classified mandatory by Federal and State regulations and Center policy.
