Examines and analyzes business transactions, electronic data entries and/or an organization's activities and operations to ascertain financial status, accuracy of data, efficiency, or compliance with laws and regulations.</p> <p>Job Duties: Examines every payable accounting document to determine the existence of sufficient documentation for general ledger entries for accuracy, endorsement, and correct posting. Audits all invoices and documents in compliance with laws and regulations. Counsels state agency financial personnel on compliance issues as an on-the-job trainer. Performs other related duties as required.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>An associate degree and experience in accounting, auditing, finance, insurance, or tax preparation and/or analysis.
