Comunale has been a local industry leader for end-to-end mechanical, fire protection and HVAC services for nearly 100 years. Comunale can work in virtually every market sector and facility type.</p> <p>Midwest Sprinkler, a division of S.A. Comunale is seeking an Assistant Field Coordinator. The Assistant Field Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Louisville Branch. Duties include general clerical, purchasing, inventory, and accounting responsibilities and project-based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. Other duties may be required as assigned by the Branch Manager.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <p>Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Learn and conform to the shop safety rules. </li><li>Learn about all fire protection sprinkler materials and tools. </li><li>Interact with the shop personnel for delivery and material needs. </li><li>Assist the sprinkler fitters with material pick-ups. </li><li>Bring prints, small materials, and/or information to the drivers' area located in the back of the shop. </li><li>Interface with dispatch on a daily basis. </li><li>Update daily, weekly and monthly reporting for corporate submission for both field and fab operations. </li><li>Manage Lift Rental/Deliveries/Pick-ups. </li><li>Learn about the material moving equipment and the various lifts used by the Company and how to properly request it. </li><li>Fabrication inventory control/management/procurement/reporting. </li><li>Enter and update FMS (fuel management) and reporting as needed. </li><li>Order/schedule equipment as needed. </li><li>Track equipment from beginning to end. </li><li>Follow-up after testing to get the completed paperwork back to the office. </li><li>Type meeting notes and correspondence as needed. </li><li>Learn to send out field employee new hire paperwork, work with HR with new hires, collect fitter work hours, expense reports, and create and update various spreadsheets for when National Field Coordinator is unavailable. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED is required. </li><li>3+ years of administrative experience is required. </li><li>Previous construction industry experience is a plus. </li><li>Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, and particularly Excel) is required. </li><li>Knowledge of general office machines and telephone systems is required. </li><li>Ability to think strategically, make sound decisions, and produce accurate and timely results is required. </li><li>Building positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees and management is required. </li><li>Demonstrating integrity and professionalism is required. </li><li>Demonstrating commitment to company values is required. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills are required. </li><li>Ability to follow-up on tasks and assignments in a timely manner is required. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required. </li><li>Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced multi-task environment is required. </li><li>Ability to perform basic business mathematical functions is required. </li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision is required. </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment is required. </li><li>Complying with all operating policies, procedures, executed Plans, and Programs is required. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. This position occasionally requires protective eye equipment. Operation of a computer, telephone, headphone, mailroom cart, and copiers/fax machine is required. Understanding simple memos, and business letters is required.
