<p>Join Our Team as the Senior Stormwater Project Manager</p> <p>The Town of Hilton Head Island is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Stormwater Project Manager to manage the planning, design, permitting, and construction of public storm water infrastructure projects.</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <ul> <li>Manage the planning, design, permitting, and construction of Town stormwater infrastructure CIP, rehabilitation, and corrective maintenance projects </li><li>Manage the Storm Water Utility's Corrective Maintenance Program </li><li>Prepare requests for proposals and qualifications, scopes of work, and cost estimates </li><li>Design and manage in-house infrastructure projects </li><li>Manage on-call contracts for professional services, construction, maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation of stormwater infrastructure </li><li>Inspect and document contractor work ensuring conformance to construction documents, plans, specifications, and permits; </li><li>Assist in developing and managing the Town-wide storm water maintenance and capital improvement projects </li><li>Assist in the development of the annual budget and manages budgets for construction and maintenance projects </li><li>Coordinate with utility companies on Town projects and utility projects to mitigate potential conflicts, evaluate design alternatives, minimize impacts and reduce costs </li><li>Assist in the acquisition of easements, rights of entry, ordering plats, working with the Town Attorney's office, and communicating with property owner </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related field </li><li>Eight (8) years of related, progressively responsible experience, with considerable experience in engineering design, project management; construction management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Valid Driver's License </li><li>Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector (SC DHEC) preferred </li><li>Certified Post-construction BMP Inspector (SC DHEC) preferred </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>A supportive environment where your skills and contributions are valued </li><li>A comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, a healthcare reimbursement arrangement, and a generous matching 401(k) plan </li><li>Relocation assistance is available </li></ul> <p>Why Work with Us?</p> <ul> <li>Impactful Work: Play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our community's facilities </li><li>Collaborative Environment: Join a dedicated team committed to excellence in public service </li><li>Excellent Benefits: Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that supports your well-being and professional growth </li><li>Community-Centric Focus: Contribute to the care and management of the Town's resources for the benefit of our residents and visitors </li></ul> <p>Join us in making Hilton Head Island an even better place to live, work, and play!</p> <p>The Town of Hilton Head Island is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
