Lane also specializes in tunnels, metro and railway systems, as well as airports and water and wastewater treatment plants</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Processes project invoices and addresses any issues or concerns from vendors pertaining to payment disbursement.</p> </li><li> <p>Meets Accounts Payable operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards and identifying opportunities for improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures that vendors are paid accurately and in a timely manner and proper sales/use tax is applied.</p> </li><li> <p>Coaches the project team on Accounts Payable procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Verifies banking details for ACH and wire requests and processes bank payment files via electronic means.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares journal entries and reconciliations for various subledgers and/or supporting documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes month end closing processes as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in the gathering of data for internal and external auditors.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree </li><li>2 years of experience in accounting/finance or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Lane Construction offers a comprehensive benefits package with an excellent opportunity to grow and be part of one of the most respected names in the construction industry.
