Join our fast-paced team as a Corporate Actions Associate and play a crucial role in processing voluntary and mandatory corporate actions-from interpreting event terms to making accurate allocations and reconciling transactions. You'll manage critical deadlines, ensure precise payments, and deliver outstanding client service while coordinating with custodians and internal teams. If you excel under pressure, thrive on attention to detail, and enjoy solving problems in a dynamic financial environment, this role is your next exciting career move!</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Responsible for processing voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, interpreting terms, allocation of event to holders and reconciliation</p> </li><li> <p>Perform various Reorg events ensuring instructions are received and processed timely and accurately, as well as mitigate risk and exposure to the firm</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor deadlines and critical cut-offs to ensure instructions are processed accordingly</p> </li><li> <p>Learn and understand stock record, relating to various retail and institutional accounts</p> </li><li> <p>Process allocations ensuring reorg events are paid timely and reconciled for accuracy</p> </li><li> <p>Provide outstanding client service, Escalate client issues and complaints on operational matters to higher-level management when vital</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding and recognizing various voluntary and mandatory reorg events and communicating with custodians, depositories, counterparties, and clients as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>1+ years of experience in voluntary corporate actions experience (recent college graduate with internship experience will also be considered)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to multitask and take ownership of complex issues</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with BPS/DTC/Euroclear/Clear stream is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>This position requires 2x a week in the office</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $30.00/hr - $34.00/hr.
