Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.</p> <p>This role in summary</p> <p>In this role you will lead the integration of final manufactured commercial laundry products from concept through production validation. Coordinating with all cross functional stakeholders and supporting staff.</p> <p>Your responsibilities will include</p> <ul> <li>Drive project development activities that meet all project requirements </li><li>Critical KPIs of time, cost, quality, and performance targets, utilizing the Whirlpool Product Development process. </li><li>Work with key stakeholders (Design, Marketing, Manufacturing,...) and globally distributed teams in defining the release schedule, ensuring all proper sign-offs are in place to deliver our consumers. </li></ul> <p>Minimum requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering </li><li>5+ years of product development experience from concept to design release </li></ul> <p>Preferred skills and experiences</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, chemical or manufacturing engineering </li><li>Familiarity with CAD software and data analysis tools (SAP, Google Sheets, Smartsheets, Solidworks, etc.) </li><li>Knowledge of DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, construction reviews, requirements management, OpEx tools and methodologies. </li><li>knowledge of Metal fabrication and welding process (Metal forming - laser & breaks, Welding - Mig and Spot / Resistance) </li><li>Systems Engineering knowledge - INCOSE ASEP or CSEP Certification </li><li>Experience facilitating effective communication across teams. </li><li>Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects </li></ul> <p>Connect with us and learn more about Whirlpool Corporation</p> <p>See what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers.
