We are at the forefront of future engineering technologies, with solutions that ensure the success of our clients in key industries that are shaping the future of the world we live in.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Competitive Equipment Service Leader - Refining, Screening & Cleaning is responsible for driving growth, profitability, and market position of ANDRITZ's OEM and non-OEM service offerings within the refining, screening, and cleaning segment.</p> <p>This role combines technical expertise, strategic market leadership, and commercial execution, with a strong focus on competitive equipment, service development, and customer value creation. The position requires extensive engagement with customers, mills, and internal teams, and includes approximately 75% travel.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Business Growth & Market Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Lead the growth and profitability of the competitive refining, screening, and cleaning service portfolio (OEM and non-OEM) </li><li>Analyze market conditions, competitor offerings, and ANDRITZ positioning to identify growth opportunities </li><li>Drive innovation, optimization, and service differentiation across the product line </li></ul> <p>Sales & Commercial Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Provide technical and commercial leadership to the sales organization (equipment and services) </li><li>Support proposal development, product costing, pricing strategy, and margin optimization </li><li>Partner with Refining/Screening/Cleaning Manager, Site Managers, and Regional Managers to align commercial strategy </li></ul> <p>Product, Service & Technical Development</p> <ul> <li>Support reverse engineering efforts, service sourcing, and parts development for competitive equipment </li><li>Collaborate with regional and global product teams on new service offerings, product enhancements, and R&D initiatives </li><li>Participate in service execution, system optimization, and customer site support as required </li></ul> <p>Operational & Financial Responsibility</p> <ul> <li>Influence production and purchasing decisions to ensure competitiveness and profitability </li><li>Support annual budgeting and forecasting with input from sales and management teams </li><li>Contribute to long- and short-term strategic planning, including sales objectives and training needs </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering or minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience </li><li>Strong technical aptitude with the ability to solve mechanical and process-related challenges </li><li>Proven experience in industrial sales, service, or technical leadership roles </li><li>Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills </li><li>Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities </li><li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Travel</p> <ul> <li>Combination of office and/or remote home-office work </li><li>Frequent travel to mills and manufacturing facilities (~75% travel) </li><li>Exposure to industrial environments including varying temperatures, noise, dust, and manufacturing equipment </li><li>Ability to wear required PPE and meet physical demands of mill environments </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Previous DUI convictions may result in inadmissibility to Canada </li><li>Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required (if applicable) </li><li>ANDRITZ is an AA/EEO/Veterans/ADA Friendly Employer </li></ul> <p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.</p> <p>Requisition ID: 20834</p>
