<p>JOB TITLE:</p> <p>Engineering Technician</p> <p>LOCATION:</p> <p>Greenville, MI</p> <p>REPORTS TO:</p> <p>Value Stream Manager</p> <p>DEPARTMENT:</p> <p>Manufacturing</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>The ENGINEERING TECH is responsible for providing first line support in engineering and technical aspects of the manufacturing operation for the operation of current processes and the implementation of process improvements on the floor.</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Provides first line engineering and technical support for problem solving of day to day quality and operational issues in the manufacturing process to include tooling and machinery issues . </li><li>Provides project support on engineering projects related to plant improvement activities from inception to completion. </li><li>Supports preparation of CAPEX requests. </li><li>Facilitates teams for development and implementation of improvement projects. </li><li>Coordinates engineering required for designs and modifications as needed. </li><li>Documents plans, activities, and results of projects as required by engineering, financial, and quality assurance requirements. </li><li>Coordinates shop floor improvements in layout and organization of equipment and tooling. </li><li>Provides input into recommendations and determination of future process improvement projects. </li><li>Performs other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>3-5 years manufacturing experience preferred.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of Blue Prints </li><li>Experience with precision measurement tools </li><li>Proficient in leading cross functional teams </li><li>Experience with fluid power & mechanical systems </li><li>Adaptability </li><li>Time management skills </li></ul>
