<p>Kforce's client, a well-established and growing professional services firm, seeks an experienced Tax Senior. The Tax Senior work alongside a seasoned team of CPAs and accountants in a collaborative environment. They will take a lead role on tax engagements, mentor staff, and build/maintain relationships with clients.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare/review Individual (Form 1040), Partnership (Form 1065), Corporate (Form 1120 and 1120S) and Trust (Form 1041) Income Tax Returns </li><li>Ensure timely filing of all client-related tax returns </li><li>Advise clients that include small businesses, individuals, trusts/estates </li><li>Research and draft memorandum involving complex tax matters </li><li>Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for clients </li><li>Work with staff to develop tax competencies and align on best practices </li><li>Present on technical topic(s) for staff training </li><li>Respond to federal and state tax notices received by client* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field </li><li>CPA/MST preferred </li><li>3+ years tax experience </li><li>Experience with individual, partnership, corporate and trust tax returns </li><li>Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research </li><li>Familiarity with UltraTax CS is a plus </li></ul>
