<p>SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Provides physical education, health and family life instruction, lessons and activities. Assesses student interests, aptitudes and needs and develops related program curriculum. </li><li>Develops program related goals and objectives for incorporation into the student's ISP and/or Plan of Care. Develops lesson plans and activities which support these goals and objectives and facilitate the employee's achievement of same. </li><li>Collects and records progress related data obtained from implemented lessons and activities. Evaluates students' achievements and progress pertaining to physical education, health and family life; and documents in progress reports, as appropriate. </li><li>Ensures compatibility of instructional format and management procedures for each student in concert with his treatment team and overall treatment needs. </li><li>Identifies and obtains necessary supplies and equipment; and transports to varying locations as needed. </li><li>Implements crisis intervention strategies as needed.
