<p>FirstEnergy</p> <p>About the Opportunity</p> <p>This is an open position with Potomac Edison, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [PE]</p> <p>All employees who apply for a posted position must notify their supervisors that they have applied. Employees who have not been in their current positions for at least one year or who are in a position with specific requirements beyond one year, must obtain approval from their supervisor before applying.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Accurately reading meters installed on customer premises, including visually checking for and reporting service diversion and metering irregularities </li><li>Delivering company notices. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or G.E.D. </li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record. </li><li>Ability to safely drive and walk in all types of weather over all types of terrain. </li><li>Must possess and use an all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicle to read meters (eligible for mileage reimbursement). </li><li>Ability to successfully deal with customers. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Working overtime as needed </li></ul> <p>Benefits, Compensation & Workforce Diversity</p> <p>At FirstEnergy, employees are key to our success.
