All while understanding that together we are even better.</p> <p>Schedule: Full Time</p> <p>Shift : Monday - Thursday 8am- 6:30pm</p> <p>Location: Seminole, Orange and Osceola.</p> <p>The role you'll contribute:</p> <p>The Assistant Nurse Manager for Patient Support Line (PSL) is responsible for identifying patient, family, and caregiver needs, and providing nursing and supportive care in accordance with the plan of care, and AdventHealth policies and procedures. In addition, this position will provide oversight of the PSL staff.</p> <p>The value you'll bring to the team:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including employment laws.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists the Director of Clinical Services in working collaboratively with the Human Resources Department to accomplish employee interviewing, hiring, training and coaching functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Works collaboratively with the Human Resources Department to address complaints and assist in resolving employee relation issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Plans, assigns, and directs work of directly supervised staff, including assigning work schedules to ensure staffing needs are met.</p> </li><li> <p>Rewards employees appropriately and evaluates performance in a timely manner using the employee evaluation forms instituted by AdventHealth Hospice Care.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees and ensures that the required AdventHealth Hospice orientation and training and applicable on the job training is completed by staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains knowledge and communicates to staff regarding policies and procedures required to comply with federal, state, and local guidelines as well as Medicare, Medicaid and insurance reimbursement requirements</p> </li></ul> <p>The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed :</p> <p>Minimum qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduate of an approved school of nursing</p> </li><li> <p>3 years skilled nursing experience including some hospice and/or home health care nursing</p> </li><li> <p>Active American Heart Association BLS</p> </li><li> <p>Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure In Florida</p> </li><li> <p>Valid in state Driver's License with current car insurance</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN)</p> </li><li> <p>Certified Hospice And Palliative Nurse</p> </li></ul> <p>This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
