Provide technical support for clients to evaluate all local and international codes, identify any deficiencies in submittals. Prepare and review key engineering documents such as piping specifications, calculations, layout philosophies, datasheets and drawings to ensure alignment with project design basis and specifications. Responsible for developing and implementing Jacobs quality assurance plan. Project estimating and scheduling. Attend client meetings and represent piping discipline at meetings. Interpret and convey information from studies performed on process systems to trades, owner, and general contractor. Provide technical support and guidance on detailed design documents and scope clarification for general contractor. Perform field walks and prepare reports based off field observations. Provide design direction and implementation during the design and construction phase of the project. Provide direction to enable construction management to make design alterations as required based on construction needs and construction methods.</p> <p>Hybrid schedule is allowed.</p> <p>TRAVEL: up to 10% domestic and international travel.</p> <p>#LI-DNI</p> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 10 years of work experience in the job offered or related Piping Engineering occupation.</p> <p>SPECIFIC SKILLS:</p> <p>Expertise and knowledge of: Piping Engineering Design and QA for the Semiconductor Industry. Piping materials of construction, Design conditions, Pipe stress analysis, General process system design. Electronics Design & Modeling: AutoCAD, Plant 3D, CADWorx, Navisworks Simulate, Revit, Smart Plant 3D. QA & Document Control: Bluebeam Revu, SharePoint, ProjectWise, MS Excel Macro, Power BI, Quickbase, Visio.
