<p>Job Title: Designer B - Outfitting</p> <p>Location: Pascagoula, MS</p> <p>Overall Overview:</p> <p>Utilizing drafting techniques, the Designer B - Outfitting prepares routine to complex layouts, charts, graphs, maps, engineered designs, drawings, and diagrams based on technical specifications and instructions.</p> <p>Typical Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>The following statements outline the general nature and level of work performed and should not be considered an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.</p> <ul> <li>Develops detailed designs for outfitting projects. </li><li>Coordinates with other sections as needed. </li><li>Reviews and checks drawings, which may require access to all production areas. </li><li>Ensures adherence to CAD standards. </li><li>Designs using Bollinger standards and common materials whenever possible. </li><li>Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory bodies and job specifications. </li><li>Follows Bollinger standard practices and procedures, including PRNs, ECPs, EARs, budget requests, and drawing check-out processes. </li><li>Reviews and integrates vendor information as required. </li><li>Works collaboratively with other personnel. </li><li>Incorporates and documents feedback from owners, regulatory bodies, and other governing entities. </li></ul> <p>Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of design principles and drafting techniques. </li><li>Some knowledge of manufacturing processes. </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Suite desired. </li><li>Good understanding of regulatory requirements and industry practices. </li><li>Proficiency in working with drafting materials and equipment. </li><li>ShipConstructor and Navis experience desired. </li></ul> <p>Experience & Training:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of two years of college coursework equivalent to an AA degree in Industrial Technology or a related field, combined with relevant design experience.
