<p>Description</p> <p>SAINTS SOCCER ACADEMY</p> <p>WANTED: Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches</p> <p>Saints Soccer Academy is a growing and year-round youth soccer club based in Portland. We're looking for several Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches for our Boys & Girls teams ages 6-17. Our teams compete in local, regional and national leages.</p> <p>Boys Teams Openings: National, Regional, State Level, MLS Next, EA, OYSA</p> <p>Girls Teams Openings: Regional, State Level, OYSA, National Tournaments</p> <p>Academy Trainings Openings: Specialist Training, GK, Striker, Defense, Technical, Tactical, Elite, Camp</p> <p>We are looking to fill these openings immediately.</p> <p>_<strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>__</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>The successful candidates will possess the following background and qualities:</p> <p>EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND</p> <ul> <li>Previous soccer coaching and/or playing experience. </li><li>A passion for the game of soccer and the authentic development of young players. </li><li>Teaching experience in a school or athletic setting. </li><li>Excellent communicator. Ability to relate to young people. </li><li>Extremely high ethical standards. </li><li>College degree preferable, but could be substituted for experience. </li><li>The ability to be a strong role model for players on and off the field. </li><li>Highly organized with the ability to multitask. </li><li>Coaches with existing licenses from US Soccer, UEFA, United Coaches highly encouraged to apply. </li></ul> <p>DUTIES MAY INCLUDE</p> <ul> <li>Preparing weekly, monthly and seasonal coaching plans and programs. </li><li>Coaching 2-5 practices per week; team dependent. </li><li>Coaching various games each weekend on a seasonal basis: team dependent. </li><li>Coaching various games & tournaments on a regional, national, international basis: team dependent. </li><li>Working closely with club staff to maintain high level of consistency, professionalism & developmental goals. </li><li>Seasonal & ongoing player evaluation. </li><li>Video Analysis; team dependent. </li><li>Attending monthly Coach Meetings. </li></ul> <p>_<strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>__</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Saints Soccer Academy is celebrating its 10th year this year.
