<p>Job Title: Lab Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Join our team as a Lab Technician, contributing to the biotechnology industry by supporting institutions, healthcare facilities, and testing labs globally. You will operate DNA and RNA synthesizers and other essential lab instruments, playing a crucial role in our GMP Formulations' high throughput team.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Operate both automated and manual lab equipment, including liquid handlers. </li><li>Troubleshoot and perform maintenance activities on lab equipment. </li><li>Conduct manual pipetting tasks with precision. </li><li>Utilize customer software packages to complete tasks and create final products. </li><li>Apply stoichiometry to convert measurement units and create custom solutions. </li><li>Quantify and sample DNA fragments for quality control tests. </li><li>Assess quality control data meticulously. </li><li>Maintain daily shipping deadlines for customer products. </li><li>Adhere to safety regulations, Lab SOPs, and contamination controls. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Biology, Chemistry, and Microbiology. </li><li>Experience with laboratory techniques such as HPLC and PCR. </li><li>Understanding of GMP standards. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in a science-related field plus 2 years of applicable lab experience required. </li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li>Reliability and consistent attendance. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 9 PM to 7:30 AM. The position offers a base pay with additional shift differential.
